This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. Please read it carefully to understand our privacy practices. Information We Collect To provide the core features of this app and the Pro subscription service, we may collect the following personal information: Device permissions: camera, microphone, local network, photo library write (saving videos to the album only), location (required only for a third-party SDK to run; we do not obtain your location) Device identifiers: RevenueCat anonymous purchase token (contains no personally identifiable information) Device sensor data: accelerometer and gyroscope (used to adapt video recording orientation) Membership information: subscription status, expiration date, and plan type (derived from the RevenueCat anonymous token; contains no personally identifiable information) Information we do not collect: Your video content, scanned barcode data, location, contacts, address book, call logs, calendar, text messages, device phone number, or browsing history Note: This app requires no account registration. Neither the iOS nor the Android version collects any personally identifiable information; subscription status is verified solely through the RevenueCat anonymous purchase token. 1. Information We Collect 2.1 No Account Registration Required This app requires no account registration to use all core features. The Pro subscription is linked through your Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) and managed by the respective app store. We do not collect your phone number, email address, or password. 2.2 Device Permissions and Sensors Camera permission: used to scan courier barcodes and record video, which is the core function of this app. We access the camera only when you actively use the recording feature. Microphone permission: used to record audio synchronously while recording video. You can turn off this permission at any time in your device system settings. Local network permission: used to provide video backup over your local network, transferring recorded videos to your computer. This feature is used only when you actively enable backup. Photo library write permission (iOS): used to save recorded videos to the system album when you actively tap "Save to Phone Album". This permission is used only to write video files and never reads existing content in your album. It is requested once when you actively save and can be turned off at any time in system settings. Sensor data (accelerometer, gyroscope): used to detect device rotation while recording so the video orientation is adapted automatically and recorded correctly. This data is used only locally and is never uploaded to any server. Location permission (iOS): none of this app's own features obtain, compute, or upload your geographic location. This permission is required for a third-party SDK integrated in the app to run properly (without the corresponding authorization declaration the SDK fails to initialize); the related data processing is governed by that SDK developer's privacy policy. You can turn it off at any time under "Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services". 2.3 Subscription and Payment Information When you purchase PutPack Shipping Recorder Pro: • iOS: the payment process is handled by Apple App Store In-App Purchase (IAP). Your payment information is collected and managed by Apple, and we cannot access it. • Android: the payment process is handled by Google Play In-App Purchase. Your payment information is collected and managed by Google, and we cannot access it. • We use RevenueCat as our subscription status management provider, receiving only the anonymous purchase token provided by the platform to verify your subscription status (whether subscribed, expiration date, and plan type). • RevenueCat does not collect your name, email address, device identifiers, or other personally identifiable information; it is used solely to verify and manage subscription validity. 2.4 Information We Do Not Collect We explicitly do not collect the following: your recorded video content, scanned barcode data, location, contacts, address book, call logs, calendar, text messages, device phone number, browsing history, etc. We also do not collect device identifiers such as IMEI or IMSI. The location permission requested on iOS is solely to satisfy a third-party SDK's runtime needs; we do not actively obtain, store, or upload your location. All your videos and scan records are stored only locally on your device, except for videos you choose to back up with the optional Baidu Netdisk cloud backup described in Clause 4.3. This app requires no account registration and collects no personally identifiable information. 3. How We Use Information 3.1 To verify your Pro subscription status so we can provide the corresponding paid features. 3.2 To diagnose problems and improve the app experience, based only on information you send to us directly (for example feedback submitted through the app store's tester feedback channel, or a message to our support address). This app does not integrate any analytics or usage-tracking service, and we do not collect behavioural statistics about how you use it. 3.3 To respond to your customer support inquiries and feedback. 4. How We Store Information 4.1 Your recorded videos and scan records are stored only locally on your device by default. We do not upload your videos or scan records to any remote server, except when you actively enable the optional Baidu Netdisk cloud backup described in Clause 4.3. 4.2 The local network backup feature transfers data over the local network only when you actively enable it and your device and computer are on the same network; the data never passes through our servers. 4.3 Optional Cloud Backup to Baidu Netdisk (Pro feature) This feature is disabled by default and takes effect only after you actively enable it and complete Baidu Netdisk OAuth authorization. The videos you select are uploaded directly from your device to your own Baidu Netdisk account through the Baidu Netdisk open platform; they neither pass through nor remain on our servers. The Baidu authorization token is stored encrypted on your device only. Baidu Netdisk is operated by Beijing Baidu Netcom Science Technology Co., Ltd., and its servers are located in mainland China; the storage and use of files inside your Baidu Netdisk account are governed by the Baidu Netdisk privacy policy. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this transfer to a third country takes place solely on the basis of your explicit opt-in action, and you may withdraw it at any time as described in Clause 6.6. 4.4 Subscription verification data (the anonymous token) is stored via RevenueCat, subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy. We do not store your payment information, account information, or any personally identifiable information. 4.5 Uninstalling this app completely erases all data stored locally on the device, and it cannot be recovered. 5. How We Share and Disclose Information 5.1 We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. 5.2 We share information only in the following circumstances: • Service providers: we use RevenueCat (subscription management) as a service provider, receiving only the anonymous purchase token provided by the platform; it does not obtain your personally identifiable information. • Legal requirements: we may disclose necessary information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. 6. Your Rights 6.1 You can manage the permissions requested by this app (camera, microphone, local network, photo library write, location) at any time in your device "Settings". 6.2 You can delete any recorded video or scan record within the app at any time. 6.3 You can manage your Pro subscription at any time: iOS users view and cancel under "Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions"; Android users manage it on the Google Play "Subscriptions" page or within the app. 6.4 Uninstalling this app completely deletes all data stored locally on the device. 6.5 To delete anonymous data related to subscription verification, you can contact us using the details below. 6.6 If you have enabled the Baidu Netdisk backup, you may disconnect (revoke authorization) at any time on the app's "Baidu Backup" page. After disconnection, uploads stop immediately and the access token stored on your device is deleted; files already uploaded to your Baidu Netdisk account must be managed or deleted by you within Baidu Netdisk. 7. Children's Privacy 7.1 This app is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. 7.2 If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 14, we will immediately take reasonable steps to delete such information from our records. 8. Third-Party Services All third-party SDKs integrated in this app are initialized only after you consent to this Privacy Policy. Before you tap "Agree", no SDK will start or collect your personal information. Cookies and Similar Technologies This app does not use cookies, web beacons, scripts, or any other automatic data collection tools to track your behavior or collect personal information. This app is a native mobile app and contains no embedded browser or web view data collection mechanisms. 11. Changes to This Privacy Policy 11.1 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
